My Thoughts

I had read on-line a lot of good things about this book.  I found it on the clearance shelf at Borders in South Portland and grabbed it.  Once I got into it the book it didn’t take me long to finish it.

The majority of the book is a biography of Pat Miletich and the birth of Miletich Fighting Systems.  However, it also covers birth of MMA, the UFC, and how the sport grew from what the general public considered human cock-fighting to the current Zuffa owned billion dollar corporation that has surpassed boxing and airs on basic cable at all hours of the day and night.

You get mini-bio’s of many MMA Legends such as Frank Shamrock, Ken Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, Tim Sylvia, Matt Hughes, Jens Pulver, Dana White, and many more fighters.

This is a great read and if you are a fan of MMA or the UFC you’ll want to pick it up.
