Limitless Wrestling: Euphoria 9/25/2021 6th Anniversary Show

It's time, once again, for Limitless Wrestling!! This time the 6th Anniversary show Euphoria, September 25, 2021 from the AMVets Hall in Yarmouth, Maine.

Roy, Canaan, and I drove down to the venue getting there about 5pm, so we could park at the building in the paved lot and not in the overflow. It was supposed to rain all afternoon, glad that it held off for everyone waiting to get in.  Super odd that Mikey wasn't at the show this weekend.  He was in Massachusetts for a sports weekend.  Friday Red Sox vs. Yankees at Fenway, Saturday the Basketball Hall of Fame, and Sunday Patriots vs. Saints.

Another sellout and a super pumped crowd for a great night at the matches!  Limitless has a new shirt by Dave Cole, a design based on the Portland Sea Dogs minor league team, I grabbed one for Mikey and I'm glad I did as it sold our extremely fast.

Fatal Four Way: Lee Moriarty vs. Brad Cashew vs. "The Prize" Alec Price vs. "Ghetto Ninja" Nolo Kitano

This was a one fall to a finish match, we saw Kitano last month in Herman in a six man tag, but this is being billed as his official Limitless debut.  Moriarty got a big ovation when he came out, Price got a huge one.  The fans are turning him face.  Cashew was the most despised.

Cashew jumped Price at the bell knocking him out of the ring leaving Taiga Style and the Ghetto Ninja to start in the ring.  This was an excellent opener with lots of action inside and outside of the ring as you'd expect in a fatal four way.   At one point lee locked in a submission on three opponents at once.
Price got the pin on Nolo after the Prize Kick.

Post Match: Lee put over Price as being the future in Limitless.  JT Dunn ran in through the crowd and hit Death By Elbow on Price and then Lee.  He cut a promo on Randy for not being booked on the Anniversary show,  that he build Limitless, that wrestlers like Hero, Sabre Jr, Dijak, and others would call Dunn to see if Randy was worth taking a chance on.  He stated that he would show up at every show and singled out Price as young talent he was going to hold down.

Ace Romero came out to the ring.  Dunn backed down but told Romero that these fans don't care about him and he shouldn't care about them.  Garcia came out leading too

Ace Romero vs. Kevin Blackwood with Limitless World Champion: "Red Death" Daniel Garcia

Garcia distracted Romero and before the bell rang Blackwood hit Ace in the back and then in the head with a steel chair.  He was going to hit Ace again but referee Nate Speckman pulled the chair away.  Once Ace said he was ready the referee called for the bell.

Blackwood went for a fast pin attempted after his double stomp off the top rope, but Ace kicked out.  Blackwood held the advantage for the majority of the match, but Romero eventually battled back.  When he Blackwood set for his finish Garcia entered the ring with a chair, Ace grabbed the chair and the two played tug a war with it.  Blackwood went for a knee strike on Ace, but hit Garcia.  Ace hit the package piledriver Blackwood for the win.

Post match Garcia and Blackwood argued and Garcia walked out leaving Blackwood in the ring.

MSP: Danger Kid & Aiden Aggro vs. The Workhorsemen: Anthony Henry & JD Drake

This was a return tag team match from the 2019 Vacationland Cup that saw MSP walk out with the win.  Henry was signed by the WWE in January 2021 and was released in July.  This was his third match since being released and the first time teaming with Drake since July.

MSP jumped Henry and Drake right at the bell as they were attempting to shake MSP's hands.  This was an aggressive match with Henry and Kid really laying into each other for the entirety of the contest.  Legit I thought they were shooting on each other at one point, but they were just being snug.

This match was tag team excellence, quite frankly, with Kid taking the heat before making the hot tag to Aggro.  The isolated Drake and hit their finish, which Drake kicked out of.  The Workhorsemen then isolated Kid with Henry landing a stomp off the top rope and Drake a moonsault for the pin.

Post Match Henry cut a promo about being back, about teaming with Drake, and how now they were 1-1 with MSP and they need to have a third match.  Drake demanded that MSP shake their hands, which they did and then Drake kissed Kid on the mouth.

Eight Person Tag Team Match:  Davienne, Becca, and The Sea Stars: Delmi Exo & Ashley Vox vs. Prestigious: "Main Attraction" Mac Daniels, Channing Thomas, & "Notorious" BRG and Jon Alba

The stipulations, if Team Davi Wins Jon Alba is banned from Limitless for the rest of the year, if Prestigious wins then Davi becomes their bitch. This match has been built over the last few months.  Prestigious has matching gear, as they should, the girls also had matching gear which was unexpectedly awesome!

It was a very good match, the guys worked over Ashley for a time and then Becca.  I've said this before, when Becca is taking punishment, the just pulls empathy from the fans like no one else.  When Alba thought they were firmly in control the tagged in, only to have the girls comeback isolating Alba.  After a horrendous beating the dragged him into the corner for Davienne baseball slide dropkick into the ring post.  This usually looks pretty rough, but god dam this was just plain aggravated assault.

Davienne dragged Alba back into the ring and locked in a Boston crab.  Prestigious tried to interfere and the girls all locked in submission holds immobilizing them and forcing them to watch seal his own fate tapping out.

Art Canvas Death Match: Ava Everett vs Love Doug

This falls count anywhere death match was the culmination of a months long feud dating back to the Road Season 3.  Ava had some sweet custom air brushed gear while Doug was in jeans and t-shirt.  These two beat each other up good, Doug impaled Ava with skewers and Ava stabbed Doug in the head with scissors.  They had large art canvases in the corners that they went through.

Finish came when Doug set up a barbed wire door on two chairs, Ava got a ladder and then Doug slammed Ava off the ladder onto the door to the hard floor getting the pin.  I have to give it up to both of them for the intensity of the match and for they were willing to risk in the match.

Intermission time to clean up the ring and for wrestlers to sell some merchandise.

"Iron" Rip Byson vs. 1 Called Manders

It's hoss fight time!  I never tire of these.  Rip and Manders did not disappoint brawling in and out of the ring.  Sitting in chairs and trading shots leading to Rip's cactus elbow off the apron.  In the ring they traded doctor bombs!  More than one!  Then they traded headbutts with Rip getting the better of Manders finishing the match with a sick burning hammer.  What a friggin fight!

"Smart" Mark Sterling came out with VSK to cut a promo about the tag team competition in Limitless and how they are a top team.  There had been sporadic microphone problems through-out the evening and it just stopped working for Sterling, who thought it was a personal attack.  He demanded a match which lead to

"Smart" Mark Sterling & VSK vs. The Mane Event: Jay Lyon & Midas Black

Another solid tag team match.  During the match I messaged Randy that I'm a big fan of the multiple tag team matches on a show.  VSK and Sterling really are a solid team as are the Mane Event. Sterling and VSK tried to cheat with a misdirect on the referee and a pair of brass knuckles, it didn't work out on the first attempt, it did on the second.  VSK went for the arrogant pin on Midas, but he rolled VSK over for the crucifix pin and the win.

Limitless Wrestling World Champion: "Red Death" Daniel Garcia vs. "Alternative" Anthony Greene

Garcia came out without Kevin Blackwood.  After the bell rang we got a bit of a stand off before they both just went at it, and they didn't let up for 25 minutes.  Both men displayed why they are in the main event, spots they have worked hard for and deserve.  I was extremely torn because I love both of these guys and am grateful that I get to watch them do what they do best live and in person.

I didn't get many great pictures of the match because I was too busy watching it.  Go out of your way to watch this on IWTV when it premiers.  I popped big for the criss cross spot!

Near what would be the end of the match Blackwood ran out and ate a superkick in the aisle for his efforts. Garcia locked in the sharpshooter, a move he's won many matches with, and as he leaned back AG manager to role up Garcia and trap his shoulders for a three count becoming the two time Limitless Worlds Champion.  I was shocked by the finish, happy for Greene and sad for Garcia.

In a cool moment Garcia handed Greene the title.  He said for the past he has made Limitless the best independent wresting in the United States, and now it was AG's job.  I really hope this doesn't mean Garcia is done with Limitless.

Post match Prestigious ran in attack AG which brought Ace out who started well but was overwhelmed by the trio.  Sober by Tool blasted out over the speakers, music that no one was familiar with but I popped hard for it.  Dirty Dango stepped out to a big ovation, his first appearance since being released by the WWE.  He walked to the ring and cleared Prestigious from it.  He then challenged the trio to a match in Hermon on October 15th against himself, AG, & Ace.  He then told AG he might come after that belt after that.

Dango then did the Shawn Michaels pose and AG ran behind him lifting the title, Ace then joined in and Dango altered his pose and I managed to capture the moment.  It legit looked like it was a spontaneous moment based on AG and Ace's reactions.

Limitless returns on October 15th at the Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon with Dancing on Thin Ice.  Already confirmed to appear is Davienne, Eddie Edwards, and the six man tag of Dirty Dango, AG, & Ace vs. Prestigious.

Limitless returns on October 23rd in Yarmouth at the AMVets Hall with Fresh Blood.

So, back in the day Dango wrestled in the Eastern Wrestling Alliance under a mask as Sun Dragon, one half of the Asian Contingent then later Johnny Curtis.  During his EWA years there was a faction called the Hardcore Institute lead by Dr. Everette Payne and their entrance music was Sober by Tool.  I always associate that song with my time in the early years of the EWA, the best times.

  1. I had stopped watching wrestling for last year or so because of all the stuff that came out relating to Speaking out moment. Many of my favourite wrestlers were involved in horrendous activities that made me hate the sport. And one of my favourite wrestling blogger/reviewer Larry Csonka also passed away forcing me to distance myself even more from it. So long story short I started watching it again recently because I was unhappy with my life at that moment and wanted something to cheer me up and the first thing that came in my mind was thr fond memories of wrestling. I logged back to my IWTV account and Limitless Euphoria was suggested. And I have to say this was everything I was missing in my life. Incredible crowd with incredible talent. There's nothing better when the wrestling is good. I really hope this isn't the end of Garcia at Limitless because that guy is awesome. Thankyou for covering this show, this was a joy to read and perfectly encapsulated my thoughts about it.

Also sorry for grammatical mess, English isn't my first language 🥲.

    1. I can understand how the speaking out movement changed how you view wrestling and make you stop watching. I'm glad that Limitless Wrestling was your first foray back into wrestling. I feel fortunate to have this promotion as my home promotion here in Maine.
I too used to read Larry Csonka all the time myself. Truth be told I had stopped reading 411 because of all the ads on the site, I understand they want to make money but it was a real deterrent for me.
Thank you for reading and your comment.

  2. Yeah I can see why the ads can be annoying but I got used to it 😂.
