Signed Trading Cards: Faby Apache

I'm very excited to share these cards with you.  I'm a huge fan of Faby Apache and had the tremendous pleasure of meeting her in New York at WrestleCon in 2019.  At that time I did get three cards signed by her.  Earlier this year I got my hands on a box of the 2019 Panini AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide trading cards and in that set there were three Faby Apache trading cards. 

I mailed these cards to Faby on July 24, 2020, she received them on October 16th, she mailed them back on October 27th and I got them on November 19th.  It's amazing how much longer they took to get to her in Mexico than it took for them to get to me.  She told me that the Mexico post office is notoriously slow, she was correct.  

This card is the sets base card.

This is from the Campeonatos or Championship subset.  In AAA Faby Apache has held the Reina de Reinas, Campeonato en Parejas Mixtas AAA, and Campeonato De Tercias AAA titles. 

This is from the Mascara vs Cabellera or Mask vs. Hair subset.  In her career five of these matches four of them in AAA winning three of the matches.  

These are the cards that I got signed by her in New York.

Signed Trading Cards: The Great Kabuki, Russ Francis, & Rockin' Robin

I'm with some more through the mail additions and my first foray into a custom card.

The Great Kabuki

I mailed these cards to Kabuki at his restaurant in Japan.  I mailed them on May 11, 2020 and got them back on June 19, 2020.  I think that, that is pretty damn good turn around.

The card in the middle is from the 1997 BBM Sparking Fighters set and the cards on the outside are from the 1986 Monty Wrestling Stars set.  Now I just need to find Sunshine and ask her to sign the card as well.

I mailed Kabuki the three cards and he signed them plus sent me the two 4 x 6 photos and the sticker pack.  That was unexpected and very cool!  I also sent him $5 for return postage not knowing how much it would be.

Russ Francis

The card on the left is from the 1975 Topps NFL set and the card on the right is from the 1985 WWF O-Pee-Chee Series 2 set.  I had only mailed Mr. Francis the NFL card, he sent me the WWF card.

Russ is a second generation wrestling star.  His father Ed Francis was the promoter for 50th State Big Time Wrestling Hawaii from the 1960's thru 1979 when he sold the territory to High Chief Peter Miavia.  Russ played football in the NFL for the New England Patriots (1975 - 80 & 87 - 88) and the San Francisco 49ers (1982 - 87).  He wrestled full time in the AWA for a spell and is a former NWA Hawaii Tag Team Champion with his brother Bill Francis.  He competed in the WrestleMania 2 NFL vs. WWF battle royal.  He was one of the final 4 men in the match with Andre the Giant & The Hart Foundation.

Rockin' Robin

This is a custom card of my design that I had made by D'Elana's Cards, you can find them on instagram.  I mimicked the NWA Wonderama design and I wrote the biography that appears on the back of the card.  I sent Robin three cards asking her to sign one and to keep the others for herself.  She sent me back two signed.

Custom cards is not something that I thought I would do but Rockin' Robin is an autograph that I wanted to add to my collection and she's never had a trading card released before.  I've had a few others made up and I've mailed them off, If I get them back you know I'll share them here.

Signed Trading Cards: Masked Superstar, Prince Iukea, Simon Diamond, & Steven Regal

Some more signed cards I got through the mail

Masked Superstar

This is a first for me, this is a custom card that I bought off eBay.  The card is just a bit smaller than a normal sized trading cards, it has decent thickness and a really cool retro look to it.  The seller is 2015greatcustoms and with 12,219 positive feedback I took a chance on buying a couple cards from him.  He currently has almost 10,000 items for sale in his eBay store, I linked his account on his name.

Simon Diamond

Both of these cards came from TNA's first card set released in 1994 by Pacific Cards. Now I just need to get Johnny Swinger to sign his side of the card.

"Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal

I mailed these cards back on May 28, 2019 and got them back May 18, 2020.  He sent a letter stating that his wife had tuck it away and he just found it.  The card on the left is from 1983 Wrestling All Stars set and the card on the right is from the 1986 Monty set.

Prince Iukea

I mailed these cards to the Prince, not only did he sign my cards but he also sent along an inscribed 8 x 10 photo, which I think is really cool!  The card on the left is from the 1999 WCW Embossed card set and the card on the right is from WCW's last trading card set from WCW Magazine released in 2000.

Crowbar

It's not usual for me to send cards to a wrestler to sign for me twice in a short period but I found that I had this Crowbar card from the final WCW set that was released in 2000 in WCW Magazine.

Signed Trading Cards: Trevor Murdoch, Chris Dickinson, Anthony Greene, & More

Hello again and welcome to another post where I look at signed trading cards that I added to my collection.  I got all of these cards signed on February 22, 2020 at Limitless Wrestling: Practice What You Preach.

Trevor Murdoch
The card on the left is from the 2007 WWE Topps Action card set.  The card on the right is from Missouri Wrestling Revival card set released between 2010 - 2014.

"Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson
This card is from the Limitless Wrestling series 2 card set

"Retro" Anthony Greene
This card is from the Limitless Wrestling series 2 card set.  I think this is card 25 I have signed by AG.

Alex Hammerstone
This card is from the PCW Ultra set released in 2019.

"Smart" Mark Sterling
This card is from the Limitless Wrestling series 1 card set

Team Limitless...a work in progress

This card is from the Limitless Wrestling Series 2 card set, it features team Limitless from the December 2018 Limitless Wrestling vs. Blitzkrieg Pro show that was held in Connecticut.  Previously I had it signed by Ashley Vox, Danger Kid, & Ava Everett. At this show I added Anthony Greene, Aiden Agro, and Alexander Lee. I now just need to get it signed by Angel Sinclair.

Signed Trading Cards: Stu Grayson, Gym Nasty Boys, Lufisto, Seiya Sanada

 This post is featuring cards that I got signed at two different shows in two different countries.  The first five cards I got signed in Ottawa, Canada on September 20, 2019 at C*4 Undisputed.  The final card I got signed in Lowell, Massachusetts on September 27, 2019 at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Fighting Spirit Unleashed event.

Stu Grayson

Sadly Evil Uno didn't not come out to sign at the show.  The card on the left is from the 2018 PWG Battle of Los Angeles set and the card on the right was released by Chikara from 2006 - 2010.

Gym Nasty Boys

White Mike and Timmy Lou Retton, this card was released in 2019 and is part of the High Spots set that gets released in the monthly subscription box service that they provide.  I bought this card direct from the Gym Nasty's.

Lufisto

The card on the left was released in 2014 by NCW Femmes Fatales wrestling promotion in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  The card on the right was also released in 2014 and is part of the d'Or de las lutte an Quebec card set.  Golden Age of Quebec Wrestling.  

Seiya Sanada

This cared was released in Japan by Baseball Magazine better known as BBM in 2011 as part of the Legends of the Champions card set.  This card featured Sanada and his tag team partner Manabu Soya as the 84th All Asia Tag Team Champions.  They held the titles from August 29, 2010 to March 21, 2011.

Brandon Kirk 

This card is part of the Limitless Wrestling Series 2 card set released in 2019.  I'm pretty confident that this is Kirk's first wrestling trading card.

Signed Trading Cards: Anthony Greene, Wes Brisco, Teddy Hart, Caleb Konley, & More

This post looks at cards that I got signed at the recent Pro Wrestling Experience show on August 1st in Fairfield, Maine.  You can read all about that show here.

"Retro" Anthony Greene

These two cards make it 23 cards that I have signed by Greene, the most I have signed from one person.  The card on the left from the July 2019 4 Corners Cards platinum series trading cards set.  The center card was released  in 2019 by Go Fight Pow as part of their wrestling trading card game.  The card on the right is not a card at all but a sticker that AG was selling.  It just looks cool.

Check out 4 Corners Cards and Go Fight Pow for these and their other cards.  Also Greene has them for sale himself.

Caleb Konley

I bought these cards from Caleb at the show, he cut me deal because I bought a DVD as well of the this years Mark Hitchcock Supershow from New York as I was at that show.  The card on the left, I have no idea who released it.  The card on the right is Konley as Star Lord for the FSCW: Fantasy Supercosplay Wrestling promotion.

Wes Brisco

This card is from the 2013 Tristar TNA Impact Wrestling Live set.  The son of Jerry Brisco this card is his first every wrestling trading card.

Teddy Hart

This card was is part of the Joey Janela Spring Break 3 Part 2 card set that was released by GCW: Game Changer Wrestling in 2019 in conjunction with the event.

Cam Zagami

This card is part of the Limitless Wrestling series 1 trading cards released in 2018.

Signed Trading Cards: Davey Boy Smith Jr., Ethan Page, Skylar, & More

This week we take a look at the cards that I got signed at Limitless Wrestling: Hooked on a Friedman May 10, 2017.  I had a Shazza Mackenzie card as well that I was hoping to get signed but she never came out and sold merchandise.  She walked through floor a couple times before the show but I figured she be out at intermission, she wasn't.

In total I added 16 new signed cards to the my collection.  I'm currently working on reorganizing the way I store my cards and the order that I store them in.  If you collect cards please tell me how your store and organize your cards.

"British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Bulldog was super nice to chat with, we talked about how in Japan he sometimes where the jeans with boots and the next night more typical wrestling gear.  He said the jeans was in the same style that his dad wrestled in, in his last WWF run but they are not at all comfortable to wrestle in.

The first card is a 2008 Topps Slam Attax card game, the second featuring Christian getting the ole high vertical suplex is from the 2010 Topps WWE set, above that is from the same set and features the Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty.  I'd love to get Tyson Kidd & Natalya to sign it as well.  Finally we have the 2015 King of Pro Wrestling card from Japan.

Ethan Page

It was nice seeing Page back in Limitless at this show.  These are both independent cards, the first being from the the 2018 Limitless Wrestling set and the second as part of the 2019 Joey Ryan Spring Break 3 part Two set.

Mance Warner

This is the only card that I bought at the show, all the others I already owned.  This card is from the 2019 Highspots card set that they send out in their monthly subscription box.  I paid $5 for the card.

JT Dunn

I finally was able to get the three cards signed by Dunn!  For the last several shows he hasn't come out to sell merch.  All three are from Limitless Wrestling, the first from the 2018 regular set and the second two from the 2018 Moments sub set.  The middle card features Dunn's match with Cody Rhodes at Unreal on January 27, 2018 and the second is after winning the 2018 Vacationland Cup.

I have on other card signed by Dunn that you can see here.

Skylar

This card is from the 2018 Limitless Wrestling set.  This was Skylar's first Limitless show that I have seen her at since November 2017. 

Ace Romero

Both cards are from Limitless Wrestling, the first from the 2018 set and the second from the 2018 Moments subset.  This card is from  Hook, Line, & Sinker July 23, 2016.

Allie Kat

Kat was turned the card over to correct her hometown to Texas and I thought that that was all she was going to do when she signed the back.  I wasn't about to ask her to sign the front. The first card is from the 2018 Limitless Wrestling set and the second as part of the 2019 Joey Ryan Spring Break 3 part Two set.

Lisa Marie Varon

Also known as Victoria and Tara.  This card is from the Tristar 2010 TNA New Era set.  She was going by Tara in TNA and I asked her to sign the card as Tara, but I guess she didn't hear me.  Lisa Marie was very nice and courteous and is on her retirement tour after 19 years in the ring.

Signed Trading Cards: Joey Ryan, Christian, Black Taurus, Jake Manning, & More

This post is highlighting the cards that I acquired during my IndyMania Wrestling Vacation in New York City April 3rd - 6th, 2019.

The theme of this post is, all the rest! Seriously this is my seventh post about the cards I got signed this week.

Joey Ryan

These cards I got signed on Friday April 5th at the Wrestlecon Convention.  The first card is technically a Bar Wrestling card released by High Spots in 2018, but Ryan owns and operates the promotion so it works.  The second card is from the All In set released in 2018 from Highspots in conjunction with the All In event.  The third card was released in 2017 by Pro Wrestling Loot.

I previously had two cards signed by Joey Ryan, you can see them here.

Christian

I got this card signed on Saturday April 6th at the Wrestlecon Convention.  This card is both Edge and Christians first card released in 1998 by BBM,  They wrestled as Adam & Jay The Canadian Rockies for Tokyo Pro Wrestling.

Black Taurus

I got these cards signed on Friday April 5th at Joey Ryan's Penis Party at the Wrestlecon Convention.  The first card was released in 2019 by Superstars of the Squared Circle and the second in the 2016 AAA Panini sticker set

Sawyer Fulton

I got this card signed on April 6th before the Pancakes & Piledrivers III at the Wrestlecon Convention.  This card is part of the 2015 WWE Topps NXT subset and is Fulton's rookie card.  I bought it from Fulton for $5

Caleb Konley 

I got this card signed on Thursday April 4th before the Wrestlecon Supershow.  This card appears to have been released in 2018 by AML.  I bought it directly from Konley for $5.  My buddy Brandon who lives in North Carolina and has been to several AML shows has never heard to the cards.

Chase Owens

I got this card signed on Saturday April 6th at the Wrestlecon Convention.   This card was produced and released by Chase Owens himself in 2019.  The front of the cards features different color borders, this card is numbered 12 of 75 and has a piece of ring worn trunks in them.

Shane Strickland

I got this card signed on April 6th before the Pancakes & Piledrivers III at the Wrestlecon Convention.  This card was released in 2016 by Legacy Wrestling.

Dave Crist

I got this card signed on April 6th before the Pancakes & Piledrivers III at the Wrestlecon Convention.  This card was released by Highspots as part of their monthly wrestling crate, not sure what year.  I bought this card directly from Crist for $5.

Jake Manning

This card I got signed on Friday April 5th at the Wrestlecon Convention.  This card was made by FSCW: Fantasy Super Cosplay Wrestling and the man in the Deadpool costume is the Man Scout Jake Manning.  Manning stated that after this picture was taken they got a new nicer Deadpool costume.  Back in 2009 I got a card from the South Carolina based indy promotion Champions With Attitude  signed by Manning.

"Monster" Michael Todd

I got this card signed on April 6th at Madison Square Garden.  The World Arm-Wrestling League had a booth set up with Michael Todd there and an arm wrestling table.  I "challenged" him, and I lost.  They were giving away cards so I got one signed.
