More than Mania Philadelphia Adventure Preview

As this posts I will be heading south with my friends to Philadelphia for Wrestling Week.  I can't really call it WrestleMania week, because I may or may not go to Mania, and it's not WrestleCon week because yes I'm going there, but we are doing other events as well.

So I am going with More Than Mania Week!

I've shared out schedule of events below, with Saturday being the big unknown as it's dependent on the last minute ticket prices for Mania.  Currently the cheapest are $196 plus fees for partial obstructed view, and as stacked as the card is, I can't spend that much money for a ticket like that.

My WrestleCon meet and greet list has many names on it but I'm not getting everyone to sign it's more of a, maybe / possible. There are other wrestlers that are not at WrestleCon but are at shows I am going too that I potentially want to get cards signed by.

My primary focus for cards, outside the few I purchased, are getting NWA Wonderama Cards Signed, so that means Robert Gibson, Bushwacker Luke, Missy Hyatt and Earl Hebner. Outside that Los Boricuas, Ken Patera, and the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers are high on the list.

The Cost of Being a Wrestling Fan: March 2024

Let's take a look at my March 2024 expenses

March had some expenses related to WrestleCon like trading cards, Ric Flair autograph and tickets to Defy Wrestling and the Nemeth Brothers comedy show, we got the VIP with meet and greet totaling $276.67.

I bought the Sting Upper Deck moments card for his final match and the CMLL 90th Anniversary Show set, which I'm hoping will arrive in time for WrestleCon totaling $46.32.

My buddy Mikey went to Beyond Wrestling Shamrock Slam and got me 5 cards signed by Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale for only $40!  A wicked deal as at WrestleCon Willow would have been $60 for the two cards she signed.

I only attended 1 wrestling show in March resulting in $46.84 of my wrestling expenses this month.

The remaining $71.09 was spent on my monthly streaming services for wrestling and some trading card supplies of top loaders and a large binder that holds cards in top loaders, which is VERY cool!

And that is what I spent this month on my passion.
