Live At Madrid's is a concert venue located on Fore Street in Portland, that just opened this year on Friday March 13, 2026. It can hold up to 800 people for it's GA Standing room only shows. It's a nice venue, the event area is large and rectangle with the stage at one end. There is a separate larger room with the bar, however other than packaged snacks there is no food.
I get anxious on show days waiting around the house to go to wrestling. Once I did head out I saw a message from Roy, he and Randy's mom were heading down to the show and had vehicle issues so I picked them up at the Exit 43 quick stop. Roy and I haven't traveled together to a wrestling show in a long time, so it was nice to chat wrestling with him in the van. We got the venue and unloaded the van, I then found parking, more on that later. We helped Marsali get everything set up with merch and chatted with everyone before show time. VIP doors were at 530, doors at 6pm, bell time 7pm.
This is show 389 lifetime, 10th show of 2026, let's get to the matches:
LJ Cleary pinned Jack Morris
The battle of the Good Looking Guys right here in Portland, Maine! Before the match Jack cut a promo playing off that he is from Scotland and how the Scotland Tartan Army has taken over New England with the World Cup at Gillette Stadium. He then turned on LJ calling him the weak link the group and attacked him before the bell. It was a fun match with Jack getting the better of LJ at the beginning of the match. LJ battled back and finished a flurry of offense with an Irish Goodbye for the pin.
GLG was a faction in Japan's Pro Wrestling NOAH that started in January 17, 2023 with founding members Anthony Greene, Jack Morris, and Jake Lee. Later Tadasuke, YO-HEY, and LJ Cleary was the last member to join. The group disbanded on July 13, 2024 at NOAH Destination 2024 when Jake Lee, Tadasuke, & YO-HEY defeated AG, Jack Morris and LJ in a six-man tag. Jake Lee then joined Bullet Club War Dogs and left the promotion.
Fatal Four Way: Daron Richardson defeated Daphne DeVille, Ace Romero, & DJ Springs pinning DeVille with a handful of tights.
DJ Springs was making his Limitless debut in this match. Very solid fatal four way with action all over the place, as expected. I thought Daphne was going to take the win in the one, however Daron rolled her up and with a handful of tights secured the 3 count. This was Daron's 5th appearance in Limitless and his first win.
Jada Stone & Gabby Forza defeated B3: Aaron Ortiz & Anthony Vecchio when Gabby pinned Anthony with a fire thunder driver
Gabby was Jada's surprise partner for the match. This was a terrific match, as you would expect because all 4 of these wrestlers are excellent! If you know me you know I love Gabby, Jada is excellent, so quick in the ring and just a speed demon, TNA should do more with her.
I want to talk about the Shooter Boys. They are wicked friggin good! I mean they make EVERYONE they are in the ring with look better because of their effort. It's hard to believe they have only been wrestling for 2 years. Everyone needs to watch these guys, if they stay together they will set fire in tag team wrestling, I have no doubt about it!
Nic Nemeth pinned Anthony Greene
I thought this was a fantastic match, AG's left leg is a bit stove up and as I knew this and it made me a bit nervous watching it. Match started with Rich taking 70 seconds to announce Nemeth and his accomplishments. Some funny business the start the match, and then it turned serious and highly competitive. Nemeth hit near a dozen elbow drops on Greene at one point, which I had never seen before. Nemeth got the pin after his second zig zag after near 17 minutes of action.
At Intermission time I was able to get Jack to sign my NOAH programs and I got a photo with all three members of GLG at the show.
VLC Qualifying Match: Aiden Aggro with J-Heru defeated 23 Hazard by count-out
Man the crowd hates Hazard, with a passion! Hazard was the aggressor through the match, the action spilled to the floor. Where Hazard has Aggro down, but got distracted arguing with the crowd and wasn't listening the referee Eric Greenleaf's count with Aggro just beating the count back into the ring.
Post match Hazard cut a promo stating he wasn't leaving the ring until he qualified for the Vactionland Cup. A man in a Bluye Demon mask slid in the ring revealing himself to be Scotty 2 Hotty and attacked Hazard from behind. He then challenged Hazard to any type of no rules match at VLC.
Limitless World Champion: Donovan Dijak pinned Bear Bronson
VERY hard hitting match, I mean these two beat the crap out of each other. They fought on the floor and around the ring through the crowd. They even went up on the stage where Dijak hit Bear with a DDT on the stage that sounded terrible. Dijak hit feast your eyes on a chair for the pin.
Post match Dijak tried to continue the attack only the be stopped by Gabby Forza. Gabby then challenged Dijak for a title match at VLC.
Very solid show from the first bell to the last!
The show looked very cool with the lighting set up and the sound system is top notch. It gave me a studio wrestling feel and I dug it. The lighting, however, was not great for photos with my phone from where I was watching, as you can see. There did have seating on two sides of the ring and the stage had seats as well. I was standing next to the stage behind the seats and I like my view. My buddy Ben was on the far side of the venue with only standing room and he said he couldn't see very well.
My only complaint of the venue is as they do not have their own lot you are stuck with city parking which is horrible overpriced. My buddy Mikey parked in the garage and it cost him $60. There is three different metered parking areas, one is a flat $15 all day and that was full, the other is $30 for the first 3 hours and $5 for each hour after, it would have cost me $50 to park there, I was lucky and found a street parking spot at $2 an hour, but no fee after 6pm, so it only cost me $4 to park.
Next up for Limitless is Friday July 17th for Crunch Time, and on Saturday August 8th for the Vacationland Cup. Tickets are available for both shows on www.limitlesswrestling.com
