Wrestling Merch I Saw Junking

In 2025 my wife and I had the house sided and did a lot of work on the inside.  To help decorate the house we've been going junking at flea markets, antique malls, and even yard sales.  We see a lot of cool stuff and sometimes I find wrestling stuff and I thought I would share on the blog some of these items.

We went to a big vintage sale at the Union Fairgrounds in Union, Maine.  It was mostly clothes with little of anything else, but I did see these items at a one booth.

Hulk Hogan t-shirt from 1989 that they were asking $98 for it.  I thought it was a bit ridiculous until I looked it up on ebay and saw one for $200 and poshmark for $500.  I had some Hogan shirts back in the day, I even still have my No Holds Barred shirt that I bought at my first WWF show in 1989, it's signed by Hogan as well.

I had both of these NES: Nintendo Entertainment Systems games when I was a kid.  Released in January 1989 WWF WrestleMania was the first WWF video game released on a home gaming console.  You could be WWF Superstars: Hulk Hogan, AndrĂ© the Giant, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Bam Bam Bigelow and The Honky Tonk Man.  Bam Bam did a cartwheel which was bad ass!

Tag Team Wrestling was an arcade game that came out in 1983 in Japan.  I remember playing it at the arcade back in the day, and even now you can at Fun Spot in New Hampshire.  It was later made for the NES game console, and others, being released in October 1986.

We stopped at a new antique store in Pittston on Route 27, this poster was not for sale but was very cool!
The show on the poster is at the Portland Expo on Tuesday August 10th.  It doesn't list a year however in the years the Bruiser Brody Wrestled the years that August 10th fell on a Tuesday were in 1971, 1976, & 1982.  Using that data I could find no results on Cagematch, however on History Of WWE I found this listing:

WWWF @ Portland, ME – Expo Building – August 10, 1976 (1,600)
Kevin Sullivan pinned Rocky Tomayo at 11:03
Johnny Rodz fought Johnny Rivera to a 20-minute-time limit draw
SD Jones defeated Doug Gilbert via disqualification at 14:00
Chief Jay Strongbow, Billy White Wolf, & Ivan Putski defeated Bruiser Brody & WWWF Tag Team Champions the Executioners in a Best 2 out of 3 falls match

Also at this shop they had this Goldberg figure.  I actually had this and even remember pre-ordering it at Kaybee Toys when it was announced.  Released by San Francisco Toymakers in 1998 this 12 inch was a lame because it was not to scale with other WCW figures.
